Natural Rattan Aluminium Bistro Set with 2 Reclining Chairs

The frame is aluminium, so it cannot rust — which is the first thing we’d want to know if you’ve ever had a steel-frame set rot away after a couple of wet winters. If you’ve owned a steel-frame set before, you’ll know how that story ends. This 2-seat bistro set is made for balconies, courtyards, and smaller patios where you want a proper place to sit with a coffee, without giving half the garden over to furniture.

The aluminium frame means you can leave it outside all year round, with no cover needed for the frame or rattan. That’s different from steel sets, where moisture gets into joints and bolt holes and starts rusting from the inside out. The rattan is UV-stabilised HDPE (high-density polyethylene), not PVC, so it doesn’t crack, fade, and turn brittle after a couple of summers in UV. HDPE is non-toxic and recyclable; PVC is not.

In the box, you get 2 reclining chairs, 1 coffee table, and beige cushions included. Each chair has a side handle for adjusting the recline, a seat height of 48cm, and a reclined length of 119cm, so there’s room to put your feet up properly. The seat cushions are 10cm thick too. That’s important because budget 6-8cm cushions can feel fine for about 30-40 minutes, then flatten. Cushions are not waterproof — store them indoors or in a storage box when you’re not using the set. If you need fresh covers, they come off for a 30°C machine wash.

The coffee table is topped with 5mm clear tempered safety glass, which is made to handle British temperature swings better than standard glass. The table measures 50cm x 50cm with a height of 55cm, so it’s spot on for drinks, snacks, or a book.
