The frame is wrapped in UV-stabilised rattan (UV-stabilised HDPE). Steel-frame furniture corrodes from the inside out because moisture gets into joints and bolt holes where coating can’t fully protect it, so internal weakening happens before you see rust on the outside. In the box, you get 2 x armchairs, 1 x round table and 2 x brown seat cushions. Each chair measures W57 x D60 x H90cm, and the round table is D75 x H75cm, so there’s space for a couple of plates, mugs or a bottle without the table dominating a balcony or courtyard. The tabletop is 5mm clear tempered safety glass. All you need to do is store the cushions away when you’re not using them, as they’re not waterproof by design.
