Natural Aluminium Rattan Bistro Set for 2 with Side Table

The aluminium frame cannot rust, meaning you can leave it outside all year round with no cover needed. The aluminium frame is the big difference here. Steel frames corrode from the inside out through joints and bolt holes, and by the time you see rust on the outside the frame’s already weakening. This set uses UV-stabilised rattan (HDPE) over aluminium, so you’re not dealing with the usual cheap-set problems of PVC rattan going brittle and fading after a couple of summers.

In the box, you get 2 x armchairs, 1 x side table with a 5mm clear tempered glass top, and 2 x charcoal seat cushions. The recommended footprint is W198cm x 60cm, so it’s sized for balconies and smaller outdoor spaces without taking over the whole patio. The table height is 53cm, which works well for morning coffee, a drink in the evening, or somewhere to put the biscuits before they mysteriously disappear.

The cushions are there for comfort, but like all proper outdoor cushions they aren’t waterproof by design. Waterproof cushions feel clammy, trap heat, and tend to crack after a couple of summers in UV, so the better option is to store the cushions away when you’re not using them. The frame and rattan just need a wipe with a damp cloth or a quick rinse with the hose, and the cushion covers can be machine washed at 30°C.
