6 Seat Aluminium Rattan Sofa Dining Set in Brown

If you’ve owned a steel-frame set before, you’ll know what happens after a couple of wet winters. The frame starts going from the inside, the rust shows up late, and suddenly you’re replacing the whole lot after 2 or 3 seasons. This 6-seat sofa dining set is built to avoid that problem properly, with an aluminium frame that cannot rust, so you can leave it outside all year round with no cover needed.

The frame is aluminium and the weave is synthetic rattan, made from UV-stabilised HDPE (high-density polyethylene). Aluminium cannot rust, meaning you don’t get hidden corrosion around joints and bolt holes where moisture works its way in first. The rattan is UV-stabilised HDPE rather than cheaper PVC, which can crack, fade, and become brittle after a couple of summers in strong British sun. You get one dining table, one lounge dining sofa, two 2-seat lounge dining chairs, two ottomans, and full seat and back cushions. The cushions are 10cm thick. Thinner 6-8cm cushions can feel fine for 30-40 minutes, then flatten when you’re still sitting there. The table sits at 67cm high, so it’s a proper dining-height setup rather than a low coffee table arrangement where eating outside becomes a balancing act. Overall size is 150cm x 174cm x 89cm, with a footprint of 322cm x 213cm, so it’s well suited if you want a full family set without guessing whether it’ll fit.

Care’s straightforward. All you need to do is store the cushions indoors when they’re not in use, and especially over winter, because non-waterproof cushions stay more comfortable and last years with simple care. The frame and rattan just wipe clean with a damp cloth or rinse off with the hose. The 5mm clear tempered glass top handles British temperature swings better than standard glass.
