The frame is solid aluminium and the weave is UV-stabilised HDPE (high-density polyethylene) synthetic rattan in Stone Grey. That matters more than most people realise. Aluminium cannot rust, meaning you can stop worrying about damp weather and stop replacing furniture every 2–3 seasons like many steel-frame sets. The rattan is made for outdoor use too, unlike PVC versions that can turn brittle and fade after a couple of summers in UV. HDPE is non-toxic and recyclable.
