Grey Aluminium Rattan Reclining Bistro Set for 2

The aluminium frame cannot rust, meaning you can leave it outside all year round with no cover needed. If you’ve had a steel set go rusty after a couple of wet winters, that’s usually because steel corrodes from the inside first, through joints and bolt holes where moisture gets in.

This 2-seat bistro set is built for British weather. The grey rattan is UV-stabilised HDPE (high-density polyethylene), not PVC—PVC cracks, fades and becomes brittle after a couple of summers in strong UV.

You get 2 x reclining chairs, 1 x coffee table and charcoal cushions included. Each chair uses a side-handle reclining mechanism. Chair size is L78 x W66 x H97cm, with a reclined length of 119cm and a seat height of 48cm. The cushions are 10cm thick, which is the difference between pads that keep their shape over time and the thinner 6-8cm ones that compress quickly with regular use.

The table measures W50 x D50 x H55cm and has a 5mm clear tempered glass top. Tempered safety glass handles British temperature swings better than standard glass.

Care’s straightforward. Store the cushions when you’re not using them—non-waterproof cushions last years with simple storage, while waterproof cushions tend to feel clammy and their coating can crack in UV. The frame and rattan wipe clean with a damp cloth or rinse with a hose. Cushion covers remove and can be machine washed at 30°C.
