The frame is wrapped in UV-stabilised rattan (UV-stabilised HDPE), so it holds up in sun and rain. Unlike steel-frame sets, which corrode from the inside out through joints and bolt holes, aluminium doesn’t have that failure point. And unlike cheaper PVC rattan that goes brittle and fades after a couple of summers in UV, this uses HDPE rattan made for outdoor use in British weather.

The overall footprint is W198cm x 60cm, with a 90cm height and a 53cm table height, so it sits neatly without taking over the space. The side table has a 5mm clear tempered glass top, which handles British temperature swings better than standard glass. All you need to do is store the cushions away when you’re not using them and wipe the frame/rattan with a cloth, or rinse with the hose if it needs it.
