If you’ve had a steel garden set rust after a couple of wet winters, you’ll know why this one exists. The frame is aluminium, so it cannot rust, meaning you can leave it outside all year round with no cover needed for the frame or rattan. That’s exactly why we stock sets like this – built for British weather properly, not just for one decent summer.

The aluminium frame matters more than anything else. Steel-frame sets usually corrode from the inside out through joints and bolt holes, so by the time you see rust on the outside the damage is already done. This set uses UV-stabilised HDPE rattan over aluminium, so you’re avoiding two common problems at once: rusting frames and PVC-style weave that becomes brittle and fades after a couple of summers.

You get 2 single lounge chairs, 1 lounge sofa and 2 coffee tables, so it’s a straightforward 4-seat layout that works well for patios and decking. The chairs measure 69 x 85 x 89cm, the sofa is 140 x 85.5 x 89cm, and each coffee table is 110 x 55 x 26cm with a 5mm tempered glass top. That tempered safety glass handles temperature swings and frosty mornings far better than standard glass.

The charcoal grey cushions are included. They’re not waterproof – by design – which is why they stay comfortable instead of feeling clammy and trapping heat. The coating on waterproof-style cushions can also crack in UV after a couple of summers. Store the cushions indoors when they’re not in use or over winter, and if you need fresh covers, they can be removed and machine washed at 30°C.
