2 Seat Aluminium Rattan Bistro Set with Side Table

The aluminium frame matters more than anything else. This one uses UV-stabilised HDPE rattan over aluminium, so you avoid the usual problems of PVC rattan cracking, fading and becoming brittle after a couple of summers in UV exposure.

In the box, you get 2 x armchairs, 1 x side table and 2 x charcoal seat cushions. The footprint is W198cm x 60cm, with each chair at H90cm and the table at H53cm, so it fits neatly where space is tight. The angled side table is topped with 5mm clear tempered safety glass, which handles British temperature swings better than standard glass.

The cushions aren’t waterproof by design, and that’s a good thing. Waterproof cushions can feel clammy, trap heat and the coating tends to crack after a couple of summers in UV. All you need to do is store the cushions indoors when not in use, and you can wipe the frame clean with a damp cloth or rinse it with the hose.
